What's To Come With Future Marijuana Laws

Exciting changes continue to help the marijuana movement grow and flourish. Most recently during a series of YouTube interviews, President Obama illustrated a forthright laissez-faire attitude towards the marijuana legalization trials occurring in the states. On the contrary to previous administrations, Obama strongly demonstrated that the administration would not try to beat back legalization efforts. In fact, Obama even went as far to express that "we're not going to spend a lot of resources to turn back decisions that have been made at the state level on this issue."

Currently four states, Washington, Colorado, Alaska and Oregon, and the District of Columbia have ended pot prohibition which totals to 18 million people. That number is expected to triple by Election Day in 2016.

So where are all of these legislation bills popping up around the country? California is the big prize with 38 million people and through legislations in 2015, California is expected to go green in 2016. Nevada, Arizona, Maine, Massachusetts, Missouri, and Vermont are all making huge strides in legislation due to their activist and end prohibition groups. Some of these many groups include; NORML, Legalize Maine, Vermont Coalition and Show Me Cannabis.
